An imposing hot cast bronze sculpture of a lion crushing a serpent on a solid marble base.This was first made by the famous French Animalier Barye. Beautifully crafted this bronze sculpture depicts the lion (the French Government) crushing evil in the world (the serpent).
Wonderfully detailed mane, large open jaws and a sleek body capture the ferocious nature of the lion that totally overpowers the serpent.
